How 'GNAR' is Gnarnia!? - Exchequer Bike Park (Flying Squirrel, Down and Out, Gnarnia)

When we saw the name of this trail on Trail Forks, our curiosity peaked. GNANIA. After checking out the YouTube videos of some dudes going absolutely insane and "breaking landspeed records" on trails like Flying Squirrel and 'Down and Out', we packed out bags and headed to the park. You can camp out overnight here for a fee, use their electric hookups, grills, showers, and facilities. The morning started off on Flying Squirrel. It was super wet and off camber, but man I can see how you can really fly when the conditions are right. After that we rode my favorite trail, Down and Out. This trail has jumps, berms, and some high speed sections that really get you feeling the heart of mountain biking. After a quick lunch refuel back at the truck, we headed back up Cramp Up to the famous Gnarnia. This seriously is a wild trail. Starting with the big rock roll it then gets a little techical as it approaches the big rock garden. With 130mm of travel, not 120 which I say in the video, I did not feel comfortable attempting it. I'm sure there's been people who have done it with less or even on a hard tail, but this double black got me excited to continue pushing my abilities, so we can go back and try it for real.
