The H.A.R.P. Gun, THE largest gun in the Western Hemisphere but what was it really used for? Thanks for your support: Https://PayPal.me/elitejamm In this video, I visit the remains of the HARP gun site in Barbados — one of the most fascinating and mysterious relics of Cold War-era science and engineering. Built in the early 1960s, this site was part of the High Altitude Research Project (HARP), a Canadian-led initiative aimed at launching projectiles into the upper atmosphere using massive artillery. While it may look like an old cannon site, this was actually a scientific experiment meant to explore space and conduct weather research long before satellites became common. Barbados was chosen for its ideal location near the equator, but it wasn’t the only site. Other HARP installations were set up in places like Yuma, Arizona and even Saudi Arabia, where similar experiments were conducted. The Barbados gun, however, was one of the largest and most important parts of the project. In this vlog, I walk you through what’s left of the site, share some history, and talk about the mystery surrounding the project’s sudden end. Why was it really shut down? What were they truly trying to achieve? If you’re into history, military experiments, or hidden science stories, this is one you don’t want to miss.
