Tri-ang Railways Passenger Coaches 1957 to 1959

The second in the series on Tri-ang coaches begins in 1957 when 9-inch mainline and suburban composite and brake coaches were released in Southern region green. In addition, a new 9-inch Restaurant coach, complete with curtains and interior detail, was introduced in BR red and cream. 1958 saw the Restaurant coach released in green and the introduction of two entirely new 9-inch coaches: A utility van with 12 opening doors in both BR red and green liveries, and a brown and cream Pullman parlour car complete with seats, tables and brass table lamps. Finally, in 1959, the 9-inch mainline composite, brake and restaurant coaches were released in BR maroon and all stock had new mark IIIa tension lock couplings.
