The Duo Play

The Duo play is basically power without a pulling guard. This allows for more gap-sound blocking on the backside, and establishes more double teams at the line of scrimmage. It is also similar to inside zone in that everyone is double teaming when possible, picking off linebackers as they declare their gaps, and the RB has a choice to continue on a hard downhill track through the A or B gap, or slide to the C gap where it is designed to go. Put simply; duo right is a power play to the right that works almost like inside zone left.
