Hi! The Streamline device from New World Medical can be used to perform minimally invasive glaucoma surgery It does two procedures simultaneously. It does have a cannula internally, which pierces through the trabecular meshwork, creating a goniotomy incision. And number two, as that cannula pierces through the trabecular meshwork and into Schlemm's canal, it injects viscoelastic from either side to perform a viscodilation both to the right and to the left of the cannula. We can see here with the first incision, you can see in this highly pigmented trabecular meshwork, the goniotomy incision. And as I do, further activations and further clicks in other parts of the angle, you can see the viscoelastic coming through and coming out of that initial goniotomy incision. It has a clear sleeve, which allows for better visualization of the cannula tip. So, as you can see, this device allows us to very elegantly perform both goniotomy and canaloplasty
