MagSafe is new to the iPhone 12 line this year. Apple have introduced a circle of magnets in the back of the phone to attach it to other MagSafe accessories. These magnets are cool and definitely help align the phone and the accessory perfectly. BUT, some of them look terrible, are super expensive or just don't even more very well at all! Other manufactures will be working on some interesting 3rd party accessories, which hopefully we'll see soon, and they could be quite interesting.
