Welcome to Wonderhussy Adventure #175! This is Part II of my Northwestern Nevada series, in which some adventurous girlfriends and I set out to explore the hot springs, abandoned cabins and ghost towns of NW Nevada. Here we check out Black Rock and Double Hot Hot Springs on the edge of the famous Black Rock Desert playa, where the annual Burning Man festival is held. Without 80,000 hippies clogging up the pipes....it's a very peaceful and beautiful place! And who would have guessed that pioneers in covered wagons stopped here back in the day?! I was very surprised to find the remains of a Conestoga Wagon!
