Skapel x Holzweiler: Finse Knitting Train

We boarded the Knitting Train to Finse to celebrate the launch of the @skappeloslo x @holzweiler collaboration. Inspired by a journey our Creative Director @mariaholzweiler once took with the Skappel family, the Knitting Train brings our shared heritage of Norwegian knitwear to life. Guests travelled from Oslo to Finse, knitting along the way with kits designed in the colours and patterns of the new capsule collection. The day ended at the iconic Finse 1222 hotel with a brand dinner and time spent together in one of Norway’s most magical winter landscapes. The collaboration capsule includes jumpers, hats, and scarves in geometric patterns inspired by traditional Norwegian knitwear, crafted from Norwegian wool and produced in Italy. Moments like these remind us that true warmth in winter comes not only from what we wear, but from the people we share it with.
