I lived here and didn't know this place existed - Lublin, Poland

During the cold winter in Poland we decided to visit Lublin again, a city located in the east of Poland, with a population of more than 300 thousand inhabitants, many of whom are students from all over the country and also from abroad. During our 1-day city tour, we visited Lake Zemborzycki during a snowy and windy day. This lake is located just 8 kilometers from the city center. Later we visited the park that is in front of the apartment where we lived. In this place we walked, we saw children on sleds and dogs in a park. Then we went to the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL), founded in 1918, where Pope John Paul II was the rector. We ate a shrimp burger at a restaurant called Red Rock City. We walked through Litewski Square where it was freezing. We went to the old town, where we remembered about the festival of trapeze artists that takes place during the summer. In the end, we went to the Lublin castle, built in the 13th century, and we went up to the tower where we had a spectacular view of the entire city. In the tower, we also find information about the Majdanek extermination camp, located just 4 kilometers from the city center.
