The new NIHR Undergraduate Internship Programme (UIP) allows early/mid career researchers the opportunity to apply for funding to host up to 3, fully funded research interns with the aim of attracting undergraduates from underrepresented professions into research careers. It is targeting the following disciplines/professions of strategic importance: Health Care Professional’s (HCP’s): • Nursing • Midwifery • Allied Health Professionals • Pharmacy • Healthcare Science It also includes: • Social Care • Research Methodology • Public Health • Data Science This one hour webinar shares information about the new scheme and how to apply to Round 1 closing for applications on 18 January 2024.
