Moderated by Michèle Paulin, professor in the Department of Marketing, join us for a conversation with Concordia alumna Solène Thubert and Jules Trolet, co-founders of the shoe refurbishing company TROLET. The two will reflect on their entrepreneurial journey, which began while they were still university students. They recount the origins of their shoe repair company, the pivots that shaped their evolution, and the challenges they faced within the second hand ecosystem. Talking Shop is a live podcast recording from the Department of Marketing at the John Molson School of Business. This edition will explore the shifts reshaping retail in two sessions with invited guests from industry and academia. About the Speakers: Jules Trolet, CEO and cobbler at TROLET, holds a degree in Business Intelligence from HEC Montréal. Solène Thubert, Marketing Director at TROLET, graduated from Concordia University in Communications and Marketing. Together with their third partner, Nathanaël Maillot, Director of Technology who graduated from Polytechnique, they founded TROLET, a Quebec-based company pioneering the refurbishment of footwear.
