Parallel mechanics in orthodontics

I had a case where i used parallel mechanics (labial and lingual) to resolve a mesial in rotation of upper 4s (which i had caused!), in a case of missing upper canines with premolar substitution. I wanted to share the mechanics I used. The mechanics entailed the use of lower incisor brackets on the palatal aspect of the U5s and U4s, sectional 018ss archwire and pushcoil between the 4s and 5s. The advantage of these mechanics over the use of elastic chain to derotate, is that I wanted to create further space between the 4s and 5s, specifically at the palatal aspect, in order to facilitate a prosthetic replacement.
