A walk following the River Wye in Buckinghamshire, which runs through the area where I grew up. Our route takes us through the village and along the A40 before picking up the stream in West Wycombe Park and following it through the industrial fringe of Wycombe around Desborough Avenue and Desborough Road. After a break in the Eden Centre we take a look at Wycombe High Street and follow the river as it flows underground through a culvert before it re-emerges near Buckinghamshire New University. Our walk takes us across the Rye and then out through Wycombe Marsh, Loudwater and Wooburn Green to Wooburn Park. The final leg of this epic River Wye Chilterns walk goes through the village of Bourne to where the Wye makes its confluence with the Thames at Hedsor.
