While farming cotton for a family friend, Lou Lewis found inspiration in the empty flatlands of his home and the vintage of airwaves of KDAV 1590AM, recording 8 demos in his childhood bedroom. The demos paid homage to his favorite dust bowl migrant songs and haunted musical gems from the 50's and 60's. Andrew Chavez (La Panza/Psychic Flowers), Corey "Chencho" Alvarez (Veda Moon), and Eric Pawlak now help Rattlesnake Milk capture the lonely, driving soundscape of the Texas panhandle on their latest album "Chicken Fried Snake".
