Claira and I headed out to Long Point Bay on Lake Erie for some early season spring pike fishing, trolling spoons in shallow water shortly after ice-out. With the water still cold and clear, the fish were stacked in the bay, and being able to run two rods each gave us more chances to experiment with colours and catch more fish. We had a solid day on the water and kept things simple but effective.
