Our favorite sad girl Sasha Alex Sloan played songs off her latest album at a sold out show in Brooklyn, Sunday night. Self described as a "Mini-Eras tour" by Sasha, she played songs off the latest album and of course fan favorites from previous albums. I was tracking the show for a few months and was bummed that it had sold out before I could get tickets. But fate was on my side and I was able to snag tickets for $25 for my friend and I the morning of the show. The show did not have an opening act, but instead invited fans up on stage for karaoke, with my friend going up to sing Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. Upon returning to his spot on the side rail, some rude bimbo snaked her way in and refused to give the spot back to my friend. Seriously where is the concert etiquette and basic human decency these days? It wasn't even packed yet this person decided to take a spot that had a jacket on the floor in the spot already. It kinda soured my experience a bit but luckily my friend is taller so he was able to see ok from his shifted over spot.
