In this KNIT tutorial I will show you how to knit this FAST AND EASY KNIT BABY HAT IDEAL FOR BEGINNERS TOO FOR 0-3M and 3-6 MONTH BABY BOYS AND GIRLS. This knit baby hat is so easy to knit making it ideal for beginners so I hope you like it. For the 0-3m size I used 40 grams of #4 yarn (Soft & Sleek in blue and 44g in pink for the 3-6M hat). You Can use any #4 worsted, Aran or 10ply yarn too. You can also make this knit baby hat smaller or bigger by changing to smaller or bigger knitting needles and cast on the number of stitches and rows below. Just remember that these sizes are not exact since not all babies are the same size. Size: *NB use 4mm needles with #4, Aran or 10ply yarn Cast on 54 sts and make 40 rows then decrease. *0-3M use 5mm needles with #4, Aran or 10ply yarn Cast on 54 sts and make 40 rows then decrease. *3-6M use 5mm needles with #4, Aran or 10ply yarn Cast on 62 sts and make 46 rows then decrease. *6-12M use 5mm needles with #4, Aran or 10ply yarn Cast on 74 sts and make 54 rows then decrease *12-24M use 5mm needles with #4, Aran or 10ply yarn Cast on 84 sts and make 64 rows then decrease.
