Rohit Shakya was fascinated by sound since when he was a child. He was intrigued by the idea of capturing time into a piece of plastic. He started playing the violin at the age of 10. He self taught himself to play the guitar and slowly started forming bands while in school. While he was active in music his grades started slipping to the point that his mother got a call asking her to stop Shakya from doing whatever he was doing just so he could graduate. Shakya would eventually find his career in music. Rohit Shakya is a well known name in the Nepali Music Scene.He is the Vocalist and Guitarist of the very popular band "Jindabad". Jindabad is a kathmandu based ART-Rock group formed in 2009 to take part in the Global Battle of the Bands consists of Abhisek Bhadra on keyboards, Kiran Shahi on drums, Rohit Shakya on vocals/guitar, Rajan Shrestha on bass and Sunny Tuladhar on guitar. He is also the Co-Founder of the Fuzz Factory Production. Fuzz Factory Productions is a multimedia company offering a variety of Audio Visual production services .Although they came into popularity through their production of music videos, they are also involved in documentary production and editing, HD filming, web design, sound recording, sound mixing and sound design.
