Ep 4. Spear Making 'the TRADITIONAL way' & Pioneering The Gulf!!

I'm not sure if we could find the right words to describe the salt pans in The Gulf.... they're spectacularly vast, remote, untouched, a mirage of white land below the beautiful amber sunsets and something really quiet remarkable!! We spent many hours and days exploring the mud flats with the TO's and were lucky enough to be shown how to make spears.... the traditional way. It sure is a labour of love and a fine art at that.. no doubt it'd take many years to master. We learnt so much about their history, sat around the fire eating fresh fish and listening to stories about their people and tribes. Not to mention catching a few of our own fish off the river banks which was the topper to a perfect day!
