Ankur Maternity Home and Clinic achieved a place in the world record India by delivering 21 babies in 24 hours AHMEDABAD: Ankur Maternity Home and Clinic has achieved an important milestone by delivering 21 babies in a span of 24 hours. This achievement has been included in the World Record India. It is worth mentioning here that this important event took place on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami on 26th August. 13 boys and 8 girls were born on August 26 Janmashtami at Ankur Maternity Home and Clinic Hospital located at Naroda Haridarshan Chowkdi, Ahmedabad. In which 20 babies were born by caesarean section and one baby was delivered naturally. All these deliveries started at midnight on 26 August and continued smoothly till 6.00 pm, with all surgeries completed within 18 hours. In some cases all mothers and infants remained healthy and none required admission to the ICU, despite hi rex.
