Fluid with a meal can solubilize food and increase osmolarity. 💦Dehydration could occur after dumping syndrome. Water consumption is the best method to prevent dehydration. If you have rehydration, salty broths or liquids containing salt work well. 🍦🍩🍷Foods that are identified as causing dumping syndrome include ice cream, pastries, alcohol, chocolate. Remember to separate liquids from solids; take liquids at least 30 minutes before and after solids, avoid every food or liquid that contains sugar and try to drink small sips of water during the day. ✅ Methods of limiting sugar in the diet: ☕️ Hot drinks like coffee or tea should be drunk without sugar. 🧃It is worth keeping an eye out in the market for natural fruit juices which do not contain additional sugar. As an alternative, make natural juice at home. 🍩🍦Avoid sweets or bakery treats. 🥤Sweet carbonated drinks should be avoided because of their high sugar content. 🥃🍷Alcohol is a very high-calorie drink and usually increases the appetite. For this reason, you should avoid drinking alcohol. 💦 You may have as much water as you can, crystal light, herbal or regular teas as you wish, but please remember, NO sugar and NO milk/creamer with high carbs.
