After crossing the Alps and the Pyrenees, the next big challenge on my bikepacking Journey from Munich to Lisbon is to get over the Cantabrian Mountains and the Picos de Europa. The weather forcast predicts a 10 days polar storm, but I still wanna give it a try. Riding in freezing temperatures, beeing constantly soaking wet and getting stuck in the snow will be only a few of the tasks that I will have to overcome. But I like to think, that this is also part of the game when you are doing outdoor sports and therefore I accept the challenge.
