Torturing Vegeta in BT2 DX because my Nintendo Switch just broke and somebody has to suffer for it

So I'm about to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, right? I get the update message before I started the game. I decided to just do it; I'm a patient man after all, so I let it update. The screen went black for a long while. I thought that was kind of weird, so after leaving it stuck like that, I turned it off and turned it back on. It launched as normal. I booted MK8; it flashed purple, kind of like when you see a game with a missing texture and it's like purple and black or something, then the screen went black entirely, then it flashed purple again, and now it won't turn on at all. I paced around my room trying not to crash out at the idea of potentially losing all of my save data, so I came up with the idea to make Vegeta suffer for the crimes Nintendo has committed against me. Of course this had to happen two days before Galaxy 1 + 2 drops. I want to die. Anyway, I plan on dropping BT2 DX in mid- to late October. I'm getting closer and closer to wrapping this up. This is the third switch I've lost, btw, and neither time was my fault. I swear.
