Introduced by William "Bill" Green (October 16, 1929 -- October 14, 2002). Congressman Bill Green was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from New York. At PGA's Annual Parliamentary Forum in 1991, Benazir Bhutto addressed a meeting of parliamentarians, commending the work of Parliamentarians for Global Action and urging women to make their presence felt on the world stage. Benazir Bhutto (21 June 1953 -- 27 December 2007) was a Pakistani politician and stateswoman who served as the 11th Prime Minister of Pakistan in two non-consecutive terms from December 2nd 1988 until October 1990, and 1993 until November 1996. She was the first woman to lead a Muslim country in democratic times. She was the eldest daughter of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, a former prime minister of Pakistan and the founder of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), which she led.
