Excited to share my trip through Pakistan especially the Gilgit Baltistan (POK) area of the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir kingdom. This trip was super special as Indians are not granted permission to step foot into Gilgit Baltistan referred to as 'POK' in India. Flew over the Karakoram mountains and Balakot and the Indus river to get to Skardu. Once in Skardu, directly headed to Katpana cold desert which happens to he world's highest desert. Also explored the lower Kachura lake and the beautiful Shangrila resort and Manthal Buddha rock. A short drive away also explored the Mantokha waterfalls.
