The 2026 Homestead Rodeo Parade: A Community Celebration of Western Tradition On Saturday, January 31, 2026, the streets of Downtown Homestead, Florida came alive with the sights and sounds of one of South Florida’s favorite hometown traditions — the 2026 Homestead Rodeo Parade. Serving as the kickoff to the 77th Annual Homestead Championship Rodeo, this beloved parade combined colorful pageantry, community pride, and family-friendly entertainment for locals and visitors alike. After a year of anticipation, the Homestead Rodeo Parade made its exciting return on January 31st, beginning promptly at 9:30 a.m. along South Krome Avenue and throughout the heart of Homestead. Hosted in part by the community and with support from Keys Gate Charter School, the parade marked the second day of rodeo festivities and set the tone for a weekend full of Western heritage, athletic competition, and community togetherness. The energy was unmistakable as young and old alike embraced the festive atmosphere, waving to participants, snapping photos, and enjoying the bright morning sunshine that ushered in this year’s celebration. The parade isn’t just a standalone event — it’s part of the larger Homestead Championship Rodeo weekend, running January 30 thru February 1, 2026. This three-day celebration brings world-class rodeo action and community events to Homestead, including rodeo performances, a rodeo dance, and the crowning of Miss Rodeo Homestead. Whether you’re a long-time rodeo fan or experiencing Homestead’s hometown charm for the first time, the 2026 Homestead Rodeo Parade was a memorable celebration that combined heritage, heart, and a whole lot of Homestead pride.
