In order to get the most of the Quadra Drive/ Vari Lok system, you MUST continue to apply throttle when wheel slip occurs (1:28 and 1:57), similar but more exaggerated than EBTCS. This can be counter-intuitive and not the same technique as used with open differentials. Most Vari-Lok axles under-perform not due to wear, but rather due to adding TOO MUCH friction modifier. Factory spec for FM is too much for optimum off road performance.
