Liberi Fatali - Final Fantasy VIII Intro | Fingerstyle Guitar

Final Fantasy VIII was my first FF game. And you can say what you want about its flaws and quirks. But one thing that I think it definitely had going for it was the soundtrack. "Liberi Fatali" was the song that plays in the intro cinematic when you start a new game in FFVIII. That opening sequence paved the way for my lifelong love of the Final Fantasy series and passion for instrumental music. For the longest time, learning how to play this song on the guitar felt like a pipe dream. An impossible, unattainable goal that I could only fantasize about but never reach. It always felt that way because Liberi Fatali is, for lack of a better word, a BIG song. It's an epic, highly dynamic, full orchestra and choir kinda of song - with lyrics in LATIN . It's daunting to even think about playing it on a single guitar. I had to make some compromises and change keys to make it work, but ultimately, I'm pretty happy with this arrangement!
