A Ranger Roll / Biwakrolle is a sleep system that is used by military personnel all over the world and deploys in seconds so you can rest immediately when you have some time. There are many variations and I show you my version of the Ranger Roll for the time between spring and fall. It consists of: Bundeswehr Gore Tex Bivvy Bag Litume UL Sleeping Bag Litume Sleeping Liner Dutch Army Foam Pad Since I stay on a slope, I show you how the Ranger Roll can be used in combination with a hammock and without any further tarp or protection since the Gore-Tex Bivvy Bag keeps you dry as long as the rain is not too severe.
