Prague Botanical Garden (Pražská Botanická zahrada) is a botanical garden in Prague-Troja. Its most famous part is the Fata Morgana greenhouse, but the garden also includes outdoor exhibits, including the vineyard of St. Clara with a chapel. The garden's name is also the name of the city organization that manages it. The garden includes a total area of ​​about 52 hectares (according to another source, 46.7 ha), of which the fenced part was 27 ha. Since January 2011, another 17 hectares have been fenced. The director of the Botanical Garden is Bohumil Černý. The Municipal Botanical Garden was not the first botanical garden founded in Prague. The University Botanical Garden was in Prague before establishing the Municipal Botanical Garden in 1775; originally in Smíchov, after 1890, it was moved to the area of ​​today's Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Science Charles University in Prague in the New Town in Na Slupi Street.
