THIS REALLY DID HAPPEN..! Hiking | Low Cost Camping | Travel Couple | EDEN NSW

Welcome back! This week we continue our journey down the NSW coastline, towing our Network RV caravan with the Next Gen Ford Ranger, as we make our way into the beautiful coastal town of Eden. We set up at Boydtown Caravan Park on a spacious unpowered site right by the beach — and it doesn’t take long before we’re down by the water. The ocean is cool, the views are unreal, and Juice is absolutely loving life. There’s always something to fix on the road, so Bryce gets stuck into some maintenance on our Waeco slide-out fridge. After 10 years of use, the latches are giving up, so we swap out the hinges to keep it going strong. We fire up the Weber for dinner after stopping by a local butcher in Eden — nothing beats a good feed by the caravan. Exploring Eden means hills… lots of them. Our morning walk turns into a bit of a workout, but it’s worth it for the calm coastal views and a well-earned coffee. We then step back in time at the Davidson Whaling Station, uncovering some wild history and unusual hunting partnerships, before checking out more local sights like Boydtower. Next up, we take on the walk to Pulpit Rock near Green Cape Lighthouse — a tough 6.8km return hike, but packed with incredible coastal views along the way. After the hike, it’s straight to the water with Juice, cooling off in a beautiful river inlet. Crossing the border into Victoria, we arrive at Genoa Donation Camp as a base to explore Mallacoota — a stunning and underrated part of the country. We tackle the hike up Genoa Peak and chase down some nearby waterfalls to round out the adventure. This stretch of coastline continues to deliver — amazing camps, great food, and endless things to see and do.
