Seems silly to be excited about that in a world where we so often talk in millions, but I can't believe that so many of you enjoy watching me play (/pull ludicrous bass faces) enough to want to subscribe. Enormously grateful to you all ❤ Anyway, Nightingale. What a wicked tune eh? Massive fan of this new ‪@HakenOfficial‬ sound, and can't wait to see what comes next! I wanted to get this properly learned and recorded at least a week before now, but it's a proper mind-melter rhythmically, so took a bit longer than expected 😅 Recorded in one continuous take as usual; in fact, this was a genuine first take effort! It's not perfect, a couple of little memory slips and a bit of shoddy playing, but I had so much fun and got so lost in playing (doesn't always happen when recording, I can tell you...) that I decided I should just roll with it. Really happy with how it's turned out! Tuning: Drop A (AEADGC low to high). This is 100% playable on a 5-string in drop A - to be honest you could probably manage it on a 4-string tuned AEAD if you really wanted! I'm 99% sure Conner will be playing his 6-string tuned F# BEADG on this, so a couple of things might be in the wrong octave, but drop A works just fine for the most part.
