In this episode, I'm in Fremantle WA for a quick visit. Fremantle is wedged between Perth’s bustling shipping port and a working fishing harbor. The port city of Fremantle, or ‘Freo’ to the locals, was historically Perth’s sister city. These days, the two are connected by suburbia and a 25-minute train journey. You can wander through the UNESCO-listed streets to discover convict history, funky street art and al fresco cafés. The Fremantle Markets is a public market located on the corner of South Terrace and Henderson Street. Esplanade Park is a public reserve in Fremantle, Western Australia. Situated on Marine Terrace and opposite the Esplanade Hotel, the reserve features about 100 mature Norfolk Island pines and the Explorers' Monument. The park has also been called Fremantle Esplanade as well as Fremantle Oval. We enjoy part-time van life, creating weekly episodes that are live at 5pm (AEST) Sundays, and sharing our experiences on our travels with our cavoodle, Twyla.
