In this video, I’ll show you step by step how to steam sticky rice, mix it with palm sugar, top it with sesame seeds and fresh coconut, and cut it into perfect pieces. Perfect for sharing with family or enjoying as a sweet treat at home. Ingredients: 1.1 lb (500 g) glutinous rice 13 fl oz (400 ml) coconut milk 5 oz (150 g) palm sugar ½ tsp salt 3 pandan leaves Shredded coconut Roasted sesame seeds Cooking Steps: Steam the sticky rice until soft. Heat the palm sugar in a pan. Add fresh durian and stir. Mix in the steamed sticky rice and stir until soft and the water reduces. Transfer to a metal tray and let it cool. Press evenly and pour syrup while warm. Sprinkle sesame seeds. Once cooled, cut into your desired shape. Grate coconut meat for topping to add extra flavor.
