Kleine Scheidegg is a mountain pass (2061 metres) squeezed between the legendary Eiger north face (3970m) and the Lauberhorn in the Berner Oberland region of central Switzerland. At Kleine Scheidegg is a train station, several hotels, some stores and restaurants. A perfect place to enjoy a beer an the view of the three high peaks here: Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The signed mountain bike route descends from Kleine Scheidegg towards Wengen ski station. If anything, this side is even more spectacular. Although half of the way is not paved, it's fun to descend with all the tight turns and steep downhill segments. At the end, you are treated to spectacular Staubbach Falls. Then you can bike along the river or take a train for interlaken.
