I'm in Rapid City South Dakota on a beautiful sunny day ridin' the Hanson-Larson Memorial Park Singletrack! And stick around for the end because I also went and rode the Sturgis Bike Park after which is a sick asphalt pump track! HLMP singletrack is a really fun trail system with some seriously gnarly trail. Dirk's Draw was probably my favorite trail there simply because of the speed ya get on it. It's more of a flow trail but pretty much all the trails there are at least kind of rocky since that's just the terrain there. I took a left off of Dirk's Draw to hit a douple black diamond called Red Dragon which was steep and rocky, really sick! That led me to Dirk's Draw jumpline which really isn't a jumpline but more just some roller type things that you can jump and it's rocky so it's kinda weird but still fun. Hitting Upper Rim to Lower Rim was the real gnar of the trail though. Upper Rim kinda got the best of me as I had to eject over the bars. It was super cool in that area though and it's a totally different kind of trail that I'm used to. After hitting the trail system I went over to the dirt jump park down the creek. pretty cool area for kids for sure. There's also some actual doubles but it's clear the haven't seen maintenance in some time. Also there are super steep and built more for BMX. I went up to Sturgis after all that and checked out the bike park that a friend told me about. It's a huge asphalt pump track! That's all towards the end of the video, I even rode my BMX a bit on it. This is the 2nd video of my travels out west and there will be plenty more from my trip so make sure to subscribe! And follow me on Instagram for more content. Send it!
