We will walk through identifying your fingerprint scanner, verifying and setting up fingerprint login. You'll also learn how to enroll your fingerprint, enable authentication, and use it for both login and sudo commands. Linux Mint 22.2 (Zara) features a brand new Xapp called Fingwit :-) According to the release notes, Fingwit "detects if your computer has a fingerprint reader and lets you record your fingerprints.
