I continue my solo narrowboat adventure cruising downstream on the Llangollen canal. Unfortunately the canal is still closed due to winter stoppages so I can't leave yet so i've been exploring away from the canal to nearby villages. This week I head off to Weston Rhyn in search of The Temple - a folly that is similar in plan to Stonehenge, at half scale it is said to have been erected around 1830 in the exact form of the celebrated druidical temple at Stonehenge, although it appears that the replica is far from precise. The builder has been identified as a Major West. Thank you so much for watching.
