Hello again, youtube! Today we finally put an age old question to rest: How many alien bastards does it take to stop Duke from changing a light bulb? So this is a very long overdue request made by Tehom on youtube almost two years ago, and a map made by Billy Boy, a level designer famous in the duke community for making really huge and hard maps. What took me so long to make this video, you might ask? Well to be honest, that's about how long it took me to get "good" at playing through it... This is definitely one of the most complex maps I've ever played. There's plenty of climbing and backtracking to do through places like a gas station and an evil science lab even before you get to the lighthouse, and it can get very easy to get stuck. As for the lighthouse itself, there's eight floors in all. There's at least three ways to end the map too: The secret exit, the normal exit, and to kill the alien queen. Of course, I go for the harder option! The enemies are no slouches, either. There's pig cops that fire mortars, octabrains that kill you with one hit, and protector drones that fire freezethrower rounds, all of which are much tougher than their normal variants. All things considered this is a very fun map. Definitely hard as balls, my biggest project so far, and feels damn satisfying to beat! Would you like to play this map for yourself?
