Bülent Kurtca - Back Where It All Started 🔥 After more than 20 years, Bülent Kurtca returns to the Morphium Skateboards family! This re-introduction part marks an incredible comeback story that's been decades in the making. The Story: Originally from the island of Sylt, Bülent moved to Hamburg in the late 90s where he quickly became a local legend, regularly skating the legendary I-Punkt hall. That's where we first met and connected. At the time, he was already established on the Carhartt team and making waves in the German skate scene. It was only a matter of time before a board company would pick him up, and fortunately for us, Bülent showed interest in Morphium. From the moment he joined the team, Bülent continuously evolved his skating and cemented his name in German skateboarding. With features in Monster Skateboard Magazine and various media appearances, he became the face of Morphium Skateboards during that era. Around 2003, the "Cobra Cabana" crew formed with Bülent, Patrick Eling, and Captn Clepto as core members. "CC4Live" became more than just a crew - it was a lifestyle. In 2004, they had the opportunity to start their own board company "Cobra Cabana Skateboards" through 24/7 distribution. This meant Bülent would leave Morphium to help build his own brand. While it was tough to see him go, we understood it was a great opportunity and wished him the best. Unfortunately, Cobra Cabana Skateboards didn't last long due to conflicts with distribution and internal disagreements that ultimately led to the project's demise. Fast forward to 2025: Mark Frölich gave Bülent the push he needed to get back on his board seriously. Now, alongside Mark's welcome part, Bülent delivers this incredible re-introduction part, officially rejoining the Morphium team after over two decades.
