Sylvia Park Shopping Centre is (objectively) the biggest shopping centre in New Zealand by floor area. It initially opened in stages between 2006 and 2007, but it was only following a heavy refurbishment in 2020 that it would officially take the crown. However, unlike Westfield Newmarket, which scales somewhat vertically, Sylvia Park's floor area is largely concentrated on 1 or 2 storeys. Despite this, there are still a ton of elevators to check out, all dotted around this large mall! This place, amazingly, has all bases covered — OTIS, Schindler, and KONE make their presence here in one way or another!
