This is a take on a weary Asgore who is pretty damn strong and actually got the black shard through fighting the Roaring Knight. Unlikely to be true in the actual Deltarune, but I wish he had this much aura. Additionally, he has used the black shard he gained through his fight to form the Dark Trident, a semi-conscious weapon strangely similar to the Roaring Knight, giving Asgore access to the Swoon mechanic— which only the main party is resistant to. He is basically one-tapping almost everyone else. Asgore was the king of monsters in Undertale. He's at bare minimum on par with Gerson, if not stronger. This time, holding back is not an option. ---- FAQ: 1. Is this connected to any of your AUs? R: No, not really. This is just a small side project for fun. 2. How strong is Asgore really? R: At bare minimum he's on par with the Hammer of Justice. In truth, thanks to the Dark Trident, he is very likely stronger. 3. Is the Dark Trident conscious? R: It is a parasite feeding on Asgore's anger and fear, all the while covering the MERCY option from you.
