The watch is large but not quite as large as it appears. It has a lot of personality and charisma but it's not overbearing in size. The case is 13mm thick, which is only fractionally thicker than a Rolex Submariner. The watch will slip under most sleeves and tight cuffs. The timepiece has impressive stance that's 48.5mm from lug-to-lug. This watch can be worn comfortably on a wrist as small as 14.5 cm in circumference. Because the lugs sort of drape themselves across the wrist and give the case an effective camber, it wears well on a smaller wrist. The watch is paired with a very high quality medium bolster stitch black alligator leather strap. It's surprisingly substantial and remarkably hardy. The strap is paired with a sturdy, stainless steel Oris-branded twin trigger single fold deployant. The case itself is handsome and simple. Oris did a number of aesthetic tricks to play up the size of the watch. There’s a radial date, series of hour markers and Arabic numerals in a simple font style. If you like big watches (44mm or 46mm) but don't have the wrist size to pull it off, this watch is a dream come true. The watch features the day, month, radial date, moonphase. Oris Calibre 916 with 38-hour power reserve. Watch the full review for complete details on the watch and movement.
