The cars we see on the roads today all had their beginnings as lines on paper, usually sketches quickly made with a pen in an attempt to capture a feeling or a thought before it escaped a designer's mind. Whether it is a concept car, built only for the purpose to capture the imagination or a production car built to satisfy the masses, they were all a product of a designer's hand, working with repetitive motions across paper, a product of their sense of space and proportion. This film attempts to capture the spirit of car design, from the very beginning sketches to the final product.
