This was our very first outing after getting married.. 11th January 2025.. and honestly, it still feels unreal. It wasn’t even supposed to be a trip! We just wanted a nice fine-dine in Guwahati, but we couldn’t decide on a single place. So we hopped on the scooty and thought, “Let’s just roam around a bit.” But Guwahati was so polluted and the traffic was horrible, so we just kept riding.. and riding.. until somehow we drifted toward Sonapur. And before we knew it.. boom.. we were on our way to Shillong! With zero planning, no extra clothes, no comfy shoes.. nothing. I was literally in heels. HEELS. But oh my god, it turned out to be the best day ever.
