Without mods, the game ran quite poorly - even simple camera rotation could trigger noticeable stuttering. Using a mod that disables one of the two protection layers (Capcom DRM) improved the situation, but some issues still remained. After the latest updates, including the January 28, 2026 update, the game runs significantly better, and I no longer need to use any modifications. Overall stability and smoothness have improved noticeably, along with better VRAM management and texture streaming. It’s unfortunate that it took so long to reach this state, but it’s good to see that these issues were eventually addressed.
