Alright, last video for the Halo Wars 2 beta. Will admit, it's been a lot more fun since Team Deathmatch released. So, I'll probably be playing this until the beta ends. My review: Pro's: More vehicle variety for both air and ground More infantry variety New leader powers The 60 Population count The general upgrade for your units (increases: attack, defense, etc) You can upgrade that green healing circle You have a new power the tops the mac blast and it looks epic Cons: I find that the power income is pointless and just slows down being able to forge bases and build units as opposed to just needing a tech level I find it irritating the fact that I need 5+ Generators just to get moving at a decent pace while in Halo Wars 1, I only needed two reactors Feel as though Spartans should be placed back in the Baracks and the Chieftain in the Reacter/Generator. Haven't used either of them because I feel like having a building solely dedicated to them is a waist. While total population is now at 60, it's rendered pointless due to units taking up more population (in HW1, you could have like 16 tanks. In HW2, maybe 8) Why do marines take up 4 population?.... We should be able to have some Leader powers at the start and should be able to upgrade them through an armory. The final tier abilities should be bought, not unlocked after buying so much other stuff. Seems a bit unfair that we have to unlock so many things in order to get stuff we really want. In HW1, I was able to just upgrade MAC blast if I wanted No upgrade-able turrets No pelican dropships No teleport pad for covenant side No scarab for covenant side??? Can't really upgrade old units Feels like MAC blast fully upgraded does no damage (And why is it only one shot?...) I want more than one ODST drop every 5 minutes....
