My new babies. Johnny Clegg & Savuka - Dela Played with Spotify over airplay (airfoil). Recorded with a Nokia 808. The Technics weighs in at 20kg, and was less than pleasant to carry home. The sound is amazing, it sounds like a much larger system, although the c 803 are by no scale small, weighing more than most floorstanders. The bass these badboys puts out on movienight makes any subwoofer completely unnescessary, shaking up the cabinets and windows without even trying, and despite only having one driver for mid and bass, the sound is completely undistorted even when closing in at the limits of the speakers (and the fl-meters closing in on 100wpc). In the video the FL meters are set to 0.1x, so the volume here is around 0.5wpc, with peaks up at 1wpc.
