Having used lights from several manufacturers, I have NEVER used a light from Mars Hydro, until now. For reasons stated in this review, the TS1000 represents not just a change, but moreover a leap into the future. The system design solves most common light issues, of complexity, spectrum, efficiency, heat, and more for a price that is competitive and represents a value for the dollar. In full disclosure, I have turned down testing grow lights in the past. When Mars Hydro asked me to review this light, I decided to put the light through a series of challenges before suggesting it to other gardeners. So this is the initial review, and I am about to conduct some gritty hands on testing with light-loving plants to see whether this light can successfully grow them, and also grow those plant types well.
