This was done by cutting the factory pop up headlight arm in half and fitting a length of steel tube over the top. Next we put two 90 degree bends in the tube and made a bracket that turned the motor sideways, bolting it through two factory holes on the chassis rail. The headlight motor cover will be welded to the bracket soon and I will do a full writeup of the modification. Do you guys want a scale drawing of the brackets we made? update: build is now complete, just awaiting being ticked off for roadworthiness through it's warrant of fitness check. here is a photo of the near-complete car. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-VV...
